Rob’s passion for Strength and Conditioning knowledge has taken him all over the country to attend the highest quality seminars and workshops money can buy. This knowledge allows him to deliver high quality coaching for the general population, individual athletes and team sports across many different disciplines.

He also delivers the company’s Soft Tissue Therapy, a qualification he gained through the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage, widely regarded as leaders in this field within the UK.

Over the years, the CHP duo have become part of a valuable and much sought after network of the country’s best S&C coaches. Brendan Chaplin (Strength and Conditioning Education), Laurence Bloom (Charlton Athletic), Darren Stratton (UK Athletics), Ian Pyper (GB triathlon) and Russell Jolley (The Conditioning Centre) to name but a few. These coaches have helped provide Rob and Sam with a platform to deliver a quality service and they are massive part of why Cornwall High Performance is where it is today.

August 2016 will see Rob complete his UKSCA accreditation.

Sam is experienced in delivering high quality training programmes for a variety of athletes and non-athletes in the South West. He has worked with a variety of clientele, including your everyday gym goer, young and aspiring athletes and competitors. His knowledge is current and extends beyond his years.

Sam is a graduate from Gloucestershire University with a BSc in Applied Sport and Exercise Studies. Since then he has completed his Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training and is now an accredited  UKSCA S&C Coach. This puts Sam and Cornwall High Performance in an elite bracket, and is a reflection of the passion the team have for this field.

Like Rob, Sam  also has access to the UK’s best Strength and Conditioning education network and continually extracts valuable information, and has programs critiqued, all to ensure he stays enthusiastic and driven within the world of S and C.
